As a retired Army officer, it means a lot to me that Mr. Hammer mentioned "officers eat last." That is the holy grail of leadership: You eat after your soldiers eat because it is a very visible symbol to the soldiers and the profession that a leader's job is to place caring for the troops ahead of self. He had me at "officers eat last."

I agree with Mr. Hammer. As an investment attorney I witnessed up close how mezzinene, venture capital, and private equity groups acquired companies; mainly by raiding assets and selling them - fire sale style. It seems to me that numerous republicans are doing the same thing, only this time it's the USA being gutting for the benefit of an elite cadre of high level politicians. Vance showed his true colors by switching his politics and becoming a Trump sycophant.

Seems like the business world and the globalist organizations dislike JD Vance with a passion. That’s a good indication he might be the right guy. Remember the Trumpster started out as a Dem. It’s not where you start it’s where you finish. Everyone was content with Pence and look what a dud he turned out to be.

For the non vets out there the mess halls sometimes ran out of food before everyone was fed. That’s why leaders eat after their men.
